Functional Appliances For Kids

Functional appliances are a type of orthodontic device used to correct Class II malocclusions, which is when the upper teeth bite in front of the lower teeth. They can also be used to expand the jaw to relieve overcrowding. Functional appliances work by repositioning or reshaping the upper or lower jaw, rather than straightening the teeth.
