Myobrace For Kids

The Myobrace®System is a proactive orthodontic approach that aims to correct the underlying causes of tooth misalignment and jaw discrepancies, frequently eliminating the need for braces or tooth extraction. This method is ideally suited for children between the ages of 3 and 15 and involves the use of a sequence of removable intra-oral appliances that are worn for 1-2 hours daily and overnight while sleeping.

Here are some of the key principles behind the Myobrace®System:

  • Addressing Underlying Causes:
Instead of solely focusing on tooth movement, the Myobrace®System targets the underlying factors that contribute to malocclusions, such as improper tongue posture, mouth breathing, and imbalanced muscular forces.

  • Guiding Natural Growth:
By encouraging proper oral habits and promoting natural jaw development, the Myobrace®System allows teeth to align naturally, often eliminating the need for invasive orthodontic interventions.

  • Preventive Approach:
Early intervention with the Myobrace®System can prevent the progression of orthodontic issues and potentially reduce the need for complex orthodontic treatment in the future.

  • Removable Appliances:
The removable nature of the Myobrace®System allows for easy maintenance and promotes patient compliance.

  • Non-Invasive Treatment:
The Myobrace®System is a non-invasive approach that does not involve tooth extraction or the use of traditional braces.
The Myobrace®System has been shown to be effective in treating a wide range of orthodontic issues, including:
Crooked teeth Crowding and spacing Overbite and underbite Crossbite Mouth breathing Tongue thrusting Reverse swallowing If you are considering orthodontic treatment for your child, the Myobrace®System may be a valuable option to explore. Consult with a Myobrace-trained orthodontist to determine if this approach is suitable for your child's specific needs.
